Use of the Website

1. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our website or make purchases.
2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password, and for all activities under your account.
3. You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and checkout and to keep it updated.
4. You may not use our website for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes, including infringing intellectual property, uploading harmful code, or attempting to disrupt services.
5. Users may register and log in using email/password or third-party authentication services such as Google Login, subject to acceptance of our Privacy Policy.

Product Information and Pricing

1. We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, images, availability, and pricing. However, we do not guarantee that all information is error-free, complete, or current.
2. Prices and promotions may change without notice. Discounts and offers are time-limited and may carry additional terms.

Orders and Payments

1. By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products. We may accept or reject any order, including due to availability, pricing or information errors, or suspected fraud.
2. You agree to provide valid, up-to-date payment information and authorize us to charge the total order amount, including applicable taxes, shipping, and fees.
3. Current payment methods: Direct Bank Transfer (you’ll receive our bank details after checkout; include your Order ID) and Cash on Delivery (COD) for deliveries within Sri Lanka.
4. Card payments (future): We may enable online card payments via a trusted third-party payment gateway (e.g., PayHere). If enabled, your card details will be handled directly by the payment provider; we do not store full card details on our servers.

Shipping and Delivery

1. We deliver within Sri Lanka only via Koombiyo Delivery.
2. A flat delivery fee of Rs. 350 applies per order. Delivery timelines shown at checkout are estimates and may vary by location, courier operations, public holidays, routing, or weather.
3. Please ensure your shipping address and contact number are accurate. Re-delivery of returned parcels due to incorrect addresses, failed attempts, or refusal can be arranged with an additional Rs. 350 fee.

Returns and Refunds

Our Refund & Return Policy explains eligibility, timelines, and how to request a return/refund. In brief:

• Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery for wrong item, manufacturing defects, or items damaged in transit. Change-of-mind returns are accepted for unopened, resalable books.
• Original delivery fee (Rs. 350) is non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
• Digital downloads/online course access are non-returnable once accessed, except as required by law.

Promotions, Coupons & Gifts

Promotions, coupons, gift cards, and bundles may include their own terms and validity periods. Unless stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined and apply only to new orders.

Intellectual Property

All content on the website—including text, graphics, logos, product images, videos, course materials, and downloads—is owned by or licensed to LIONREADS (PVT) LTD and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as permitted by these Terms or applicable licenses, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works.

Limitation of Liability

1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LIONREADS (PVT) LTD and its officers, employees, or affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the website or our products.
2. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, suitability, or availability of products or content, and the website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
3. In any case, our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the order that gave rise to the claim in the preceding three (3) months.

Amendments and Termination

We may modify, update, or terminate these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sri Lanka for disputes that are not subject to other mandatory resolution mechanisms under applicable law.
